Set against the stunning backdrop of Hermanus’s breathtaking coastline, this is more than just a race — it’s an unforgettable experience filled with fresh air, scenic beauty, and (if you’re lucky) a few whales to spot along the way!
Race Details:
Start: Above the Old Harbour
Route: Follow the spectacular coast all the way to the New Harbour, then return along the famous Hermanus Cliff Path — one of the most beautiful trails in the country.
Finish: Gearing’s Point, Hermanus
As it’s peak whale season, keep your eyes peeled for these majestic marine giants breaching and playing in Walker Bay!

- For those not staying over, early morning collection before the race will also be available.
- Every runner receives a medal — even if you finish after 9 AM. 🏅 No one gets left behind!
