  • General Vendor Applications for the stalls will close on 31 July 2025, after which a selection process will be made.
  • Food Vendor Applications for the stalls will close on 30 June 2025, after which a selection process will be made.

LOCAL VENDORS FIRST

The Hermanus Whale Festival proudly supports local businesses and entrepreneurs.

Priority consideration is given to vendors from:
✔ Hermanus
✔ Overstrand
✔ Overberg Region

IMPORTANT TO NOTE:
Submitting an application does NOT automatically mean approval or acceptance into the festival.

All vendor applications are reviewed and approved by the official Hermanus Whale Festival team to ensure the right mix, quality and festival fit.

Please be aware of scammers who are pretending to sell vendor space on Facebook and other unofficial platforms.

❌ We do NOT sell vendor space through Facebook comments, Messenger or third parties.
✅ ALL applications must go through the official Hermanus Whale Festival application process.

Marketing & Advertising:

For marketing purposes, all stall owners are requested to provide us with photos and information about stalls and products – could be via WhatsApp or email.

The material will be used on social media to provide more exposure and attract visitors to the show.

HELP US KEEP THE HERMANUS WHALE FESTIVAL CLEAN AND GREEN

The Hermanus Whale Festival is an Eco-marine Festival with many of our stalls [Arts | Craft | Food], Eco-Marine displays and exhibits, events and also our visitors being very close to water’s edge.

We request that all our sponsors and exhibitors keep this ocean location top-of-mind and refrain from using Styrofoam and plastic take-out containers, balloons, stickers, plastic bags, flyers, single-serving water bottles or other materials that might find their way into the receiving waters of our Ocean.
We further request all of our guests to keep these practices in mind as they spend a glorious day or weekend taking in the beauty of this special location.

Please help us keep the Hermanus Whale Festival clean and green for generations to come.

The Name and Logo of the Hermanus Whale Festival can only be used with prior written confirmation from the Chairman of the Hermanus Whale Festival.

Royalties are payable and arrangements must be made in writing ahead of time. Merchandise that does not adhere to these principles will be confiscated and stall holders will not be considered for participation again.
